We'll have a barrel of fun

How did Big Joe's Polka Show not get picked up by a major network?

One month and twelve days til Sophia turns a whole year old. That means her nana is getting old.

It has been a long time since the last update. Michael Jackson died. Sophia can walk. That's about it.

Next Saturday the Ewing/Felton/Groomes clan will embark upon a trip to the beautiful state of Florida, more notably Panama City Beach. Richard said he wants to get a tan and eat his weight in crab legs. Carol wants to have a wet t-shirt contest. Lindsey wants to go para sailing. Robert wants to rent a Harley and drive around town. Sophia wants a bite, of course that is about the only word she can say so I guess it counts. Carol Beth wants to get sloshed. Ron wants to form a badminton tournament. I just want to lay on the beach and stare at the clouds. Clouds wearing tiny bikinis.

My ipod is steadily getting more quality music on it. I would like to list for you the top songs from each genre that are on my ipod (I know I do a lot of list but it's my blog so get over it).

Alternative-Goodbye Horses This song appears in the movie Silence of the Lambs. I will not tell you which scene because I wouldn't want anyone to recreate it.

Arena Rock-Oh Sherrie Some of Steve Perry's finest work.

Country-You're the One This was one of many hard decision. I have a lot of good country music.

Dance-Don't You Want Me This song was on my ipod before the swiffer commercials featuring this song debuted.

Hip Hop-King of Rock This song brought rap to the common Joe.

Inspirational-Cinderella Sophia's mother can't listen to this song without crying.

Pop-The Way You Make Me Feel Substitute this song for anything by Michael Jackson. He is the King of Pop.

R/B Soul-Kissed by a Rose The main reason I put this song on the list is because I feel sorry for seal because he has to sleep with Heidi Klum.

Rock-Come on Eileen Dexy's Midnight Runners are the only reason I wear overalls.

Soundtrack-She's Like the Wind There is nothing funny or comical about this pick. I really love this song so much that it runs a close race of favorite song period. (Isn't it ironic that I wrote the word period and followed it with a period?) ((Isn't it ironic that I have two Alanis Morisette songs on my ipod and neither of them are Isn't It Ironic?))

Those are all the genres that I have. I do have a lot of eighties music so I guess I could tell you my favorite eighties song. Take on Me by aha or Broken Wings by Mr. Mister or Let's Go All The Way by Sly Fox or ..........This list could go on all night.

If I missed any genres please let me know.
